Blue Knights Softball Earns Third-Place Finish at Region 13 Tournament

The DCTC Blue Knights Softball team hosted the Region 13 NJCAA Divsion II Softball tournament this past weekend, April 30-May 2, welcoming teams from Dawson Community College, Miles Community College, Williston State College, and Lake Region State College for a competitive weekend of softball.

DCTC opened tournament play with a thrilling 3–2 extra-inning victory over Miles Community College, edging the Pioneers in 10 innings in a hard-fought contest. The Blue Knights battled again in their next game but fell to eventual tournament champion Dawson Community College, 14–3. DCTC closed tournament play against Miles Community College once again, coming up short in a 6–2 decision for a third-place finish.
