Losing Streak Snapped
Blue Knights snap a seven game losing streak with a solid 93–85 win over Iowa Lakes on Saturday, January 24. The Blue Knights set the tone early and showed poise down the stretch, leaning on strong guard play and a solid production from the bench to secure the much needed win.
Yarin Alexander led the way with an all-around performance, pouring in 26 points while adding 7 rebounds and 6 assists. His ability to score at all three levels and make timely plays kept Iowa Lakes from ever fully swinging momentum. D'Marco Chelley was equally impactful, finishing with 20 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Chelley controlled the pace, made key reads, and provided leadership on both ends as the Blue Knights closed the game out.
The win marks an important reset for DCTC as the team looks to build momentum heading into the last leg of the seaon. The Blue Knights now hit the road this weekend for a tough test, squaring off against #13-ranked Madison College.
