At Scott County Community College: Tie 2-2
The Blueknights started slow after a five and half hour bus ride, but were able to with stand early pressure and take a 1-0 lead midway through the first half and a goal by Hamza Abdujalil. DCTC went into halftime with a 1-0 lead. In the second half both teams had some good opportunities to score, but Scott County took advantage of the opportunities they had and took a 2-1 lead with 20 minutes left in regulation. Dakota County worked hard and was able to tie the game with just 11 seconds remaining in regulation as Hamza Abdujalil scored his second of the game. Neither team was able to score in overtime and each team picked up their first points of the season in conference play.
At Gustavus Adolphus: Loss 1-2
The Blueknights traveled to Saint Peter for a match up with the Gusties. The Gusties have always given Dakota County problems as last year both games ended 5-0 in favor of Gustavus. This year, DCTC was able to pull a head 1-0 on a corner kick goal by Mohamed Hassan with an assist to Hamza Abdujalil. Shortly before half, the Gusties were able to score twice with in a minute and took the 2-1 advantage into halftime. The second half was an even game, but no goals were scored.
Vs. Northeast, Nebraska: Loss 1-3
The Blueknights hosted Northeast, Nebraska on a warm and humid Saturday afternoon. The game was fast paced from the opening whistle with both teams creating many opportunities to score. Northeast was able to take advantage of some poor defending by the Blueknights and finished their chances as they pulled away to a 3-0 lead midway through the second half. The Blueknights finally scored with 8 minutes remaining on a goal by Ryan Zamora, but was unable to add another and the Blueknights lost 3-1.
